Referee Clinic – Riverton Library – Jan 27 2018

These referee clinics are being taught by Mark Probert, a great referee that has been associated with our league for quite some time. His intention for these clinics is to teach parents, coaches, and youth rules of soccer and learn basics about refereeing, including how to be an assistant referee. Some of you in the U12 and U14 divisions have been asked to attend or will be asked to attend one of these clinics to learn to be an assistant referee. Please plan on attending one of them.
We would encourage all parents, coaches, and youth to attend to better learn the rules of soccer and help gain a greater appreciation of the sport.
Parents and youth wanting to become certified referees should attend. Additionally, we have a need for referees in our league to referee our U9-U11 games. Any youth over 14 interested in becoming a referee for us, should attend one of these sessions to find out more about refereeing and if it is something that he/she wants to do.
