Spring 2020 Season Canceled
Hello West Jordan Youth Soccer Parents and Players,
After counseling together as a Board and based on current COVID-19 information, the league has decided to cancel Spring soccer. This decision was not made lightly and took into consideration the social isolation guidelines of the CDC, the ability of the league to get field space, and whether a condensed or changing of the season soccer schedule could be accommodated.
Of course, we want to be as transparent as possible with our soccer family. Thus we have decided on the following refund policy:
Refund Policy:
Spring 2020 Registrations Only
Those who registered in the Spring 2020 will be given two options.
- First, they can select to have their $50.00 registration fee credited to the Fall 2020-Spring 2021 registration fees.
- Second, they can select to receive a full refund in the form of a check which will be issued and mailed within 3-4 weeks of the request.
Fall 2019-Spring 2020 Registrations
Those who signed up to play West Jordan Youth Soccer in the Fall will be offered two options as well.
- First, they can select to have $30.00 of their registration fee credited to the Fall 2020-Spring 2021 Season. (please see below a breakdown of costs.)
- Second, they can receive the $30.00 in the form of a check which will be issued and mailed within 3-4 weeks of the request.
Note: Parent’s selecting a credit for the Fall 2019 – Spring 2020 season will receive a Promo Code via email after May 1, 2020 to use during the registration check-out process.

Description of Fees
Uniform Cost: This fee includes the player’s Jersey, soccer shorts, and soccer socks
Utah Youth Soccer Fee: This fee covers membership to US Youth and US Soccer, background checks for rec coaches, and secondary medical insurance, among other things, which have all been paid for any players who were registered last fall.
Online Processing Fee: This fee covers the cost of the soccer registration platform and the credit card processing fee.
Field/Referee Fees: This is the cost to the league to rent the fields from the City of West Jordan for Saturday games and for the older players the cost of the referees to officiate each game.
Fall Team Picture: The league provides each player in the Fall with a memory mate picture for a soccer momento. The memory mate is an 8X10 picture which includes both an individual picture of the player and a team picture.
West Jordan Youth Soccer – A program that will continue even after COVID-19
The league is in a sound financial position and will be here for years to come offering a quality program for the youth of West Jordan and surrounding areas. We love recreation soccer! The board is grateful you choose to have your child(ren) play in our league. We are a family of soccer lovers who can’t wait to see your kids learn and develop their soccer skills in practices and at games. We are here for the long haul and will continue to offer children a quality program long after the COVID-19 virus is a thing of the past.
